Start with the icon.
Your recipient and subject carry through from Gmail. Prepare the private message and files, insert the secure link, then send from your usual draft.
Click the We Secure Data icon. Protect your message and files. Follow the recipient from email verification to easy previews—and evidence they can verify online or independently offline, long into the future.
Start a Gmail message as usual. Click the purple We Secure Data icon in the compose toolbar to protect a private message, an attachment, or both.
No need to leave your email workflow to start a secure exchange.
The plugin picks up the recipient and subject from your draft. Choose “Add files or message” to create the protected content.
Your Gmail draft stays in place while you prepare the secure content.
Enter the confidential message and choose the files to protect. This example includes a private message and a PDF attachment. Gmail receives the secure link rather than the protected content.
Message, files, or both—prepared in one place.
Once the protected content is ready, choose “Return to Gmail”. The confirmation explains how to retrieve the message and files in the plugin panel.
You stay in control of when your Gmail email is sent.
Retrieve the prepared message and files in the We Secure Data panel, then choose “Insert secure link”. The panel confirms that the private message and attachment are included.
One branded link connects the recipient to the protected content.
The branded link block is now in your Gmail draft. Check the email and press Gmail’s Send button. The recipient receives that link and uses “Open Secure Message” to continue.
A normal email carries the link. The confidential content stays protected.
The recipient reaches your company-branded access page. They must verify control of the invited email address before the message and attachment details are revealed.
No We Secure Data account is needed to follow this recipient flow.
The recipient gets a verification code in their inbox. Enter it on the access page and choose “Verify and open message”. The email shows the code’s 10-minute expiry.
From a message link to protected content in a few straightforward steps.
The protected message opens with the recorded sender and available evidence. Choose “Verify this message” to check the message and protected attachments on this device.
The recipient can check the evidence instead of relying on the delivery email alone.
Open the message preview to read the decrypted content. This capture shows the confidential message with its recorded sender, time and provenance information.
Protected in transit and storage; readable in the authorised preview.
The PDF attachment opens in a familiar preview, with page count and zoom controls. The recipient can review the file without a separate document-viewing application.
A quick preview of the protected attachment, alongside the secure message.
Choose “Download the message and verification evidence”. The ZIP includes the message, attachments and available evidence. On the live page, choose or drop that bundle into “Verify independently”.
The online page runs the cryptographic checks locally in your browser; the bundle is not uploaded for checking.
The live page now shows “Independent verification successful”: no changes were found in the checked message or attachments. The result lists the recorded sender, message integrity, attachments and cryptographic evidence.
This capture still marks public Merkle proof as pending; the displayed file and signature checks have completed.
Keep the complete ZIP. Extract it and you will find the verified files, proof records, supporting assets and “ProveThisMessage.html”. Instructions and AI-VERIFY.md are included too.
Keep the files and their evidence together so you can check them again in the future.
Open “ProveThisMessage.html” from the extracted bundle in your browser. This is the saved verifier running locally, rather than the live message page.
Verification can run independently of the original email link or the live We Secure Data service.
If the browser does not load the local evidence automatically, choose the original ZIP from your computer. The saved verifier reads the bundle and checks its actual contents.
The same saved evidence can be checked offline whenever you need it.
The local verifier reports “Verified origin and integrity”. It confirms that the checked files match the recorded hashes and provenance evidence. Keep the complete bundle to repeat those checks later.
Verify today, tomorrow, or years from now—from the evidence you saved, independently of the live message link.
Your recipient and subject carry through from Gmail. Prepare the private message and files, insert the secure link, then send from your usual draft.
Follow the link, verify the invited email address and open the protected content. Preview the message and supported attachments directly in the browser.
Download the message, attachments and proof together. Check that bundle on the live page or use the included verifier locally, independently and offline.
The proof travels with the message and attachments. Save the complete bundle so future checks do not depend on the original delivery email or continued access to the live message link.
Download the evidence ZIP, then choose or drop it into the message page’s verification area. The browser checks the evidence locally and displays the result.
Your evidence is checked on your device.Keep the ZIP and its included files. Open the bundled ProveThisMessage.html locally, select the original ZIP if prompted, and run the checks without the live service.
Today, tomorrow, or years from now.Guided walkthrough using supplied product captures. Personal names, email addresses and computer usernames are obscured in the public demo. Verification results describe the evidence available in the saved bundle.
